Spending The Night in A Tree house

Justin Kauffman March 29, 2020

I got the opportunity to visit TreeHouse Point for the first time a couple months ago and quickly fell in love with how magical the property was.  Every inch is meticulously thought out, clean, and inviting.  Plus, it’s a photographer and cabin lover’s dream…what’s not to like!

Located just outside of Issaquah, WA, Tree House Point is one of the best places to escape the city.  It’s tucked away and hidden in the woods…which makes it an easy place to unwind and detox from a busy work week.  It also happens to be very close to Snoqualmie Pass, Snoqualmie Falls, the Rattlesnake Ridge Hike, and Franklin Falls.  All of which are really fun places to explore and visit if you’re in the area.

I first visited TreeHouse Point because I was filming a wedding (you can find the video for that here if you’re interested), and after that first visit I knew I wanted to visit again.  Except, the next time I came I wanted to stay in one of the tree houses.  I reached out to the property very last minute and because of that the tree house named Bonbibi was the only one available.  I said yes and locked it in immediately. Next thing we knew, Angela (@AngelaLiggs) and I were exploring the property and having the time of our lives.

Bonbibi turned out to be the perfect treehouse for our first visit.  It was located on the edge of the property which was nice because there were no other guests around.  In fact, we didn’t see another person during our entire stay.  It was also close to the cabins that contained the bathroom/showers which was handy.  There was not a single inconvenience during the entire stay and it was nice to be able to have some peace and quiet after a couple long days of shooting in the city before this little escape.

I’ve stayed at many different properties, hotels, and airbnbs around Seattle but have never been to one as relaxing as this.  If you’re ever in the area or looking for a quick escape from the city, TreeHouse Point is the place to be!
