Whitefish Mountain Resort is a favorite destination for skiers and snowboarders alike. Known for its long, rolling runs and stunning views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains and Glacier National Park, it’s a place where generations of locals have learned to ski and soak in the beauty of the Big Sky State. 

For Justin, the resort isn’t just a playground, it’s home. “I grew up skiing these slopes and know most of the mountain like the back of my hand. It’s the perfect training ground for my adventures around the world and touring up for sunrise is one of my favorite things to do in the winter.”

On this morning, in particular, there were moody clouds everywhere. Justin recalls feeling like the sun was never going to be able to poke through them. However, just as he neared the top, he was rewarded with an incredible inversion that was spilling over the mountains in the distance. “The trees were dusted in fresh snow, and the whole scene just glowed.”
